What does a man or woman of God look like? For one thing, they are distinctively different in the way they think. A man or woman of God is not to be influenced by the counsel of those who are godless. In fact, you are to be separated from theirthinking.
Friend, beware of the mindbenders! There’s huge pressure today to be softened up to accept the world’s values”¦to be brainwashed by the god of this age.
But our lives are not to be directed by the wisdom of this world! They’re to be directed by the wisdom that comes from above. The true man or woman of God gets their counsel from heaven. They’re able to live life without scheming while trusting in the Lord.
Proverbs 23:7 says, “”¦as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”¦” (KJV). The heart is the center of reflection. It’s who you are down deep on the inside when you commune with yourself and God. Don’t allow that to influenced by the world’s values and thinking.
Remember that what you think about, what you hear, and what you allow to enter the gates of your mind will ultimately determine the path your life takes!
