“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Today, I’d like to ask you how you have dealt with the sin in your life.
Have you jumped on the religious ladder? Are you trying to be a good person and do the right things hoping that somehow God’s scorecard will add up in your favor?
Or maybe you’re one of those people who has denied the existence of sin in your life at all. You’ve just sort of numbed yourself to the fact that you’re a sinner”¦or you think it’s an archaic idea that no longer merits consideration.
Friend, neither of these things will solve the problem of your sin! Because trying to be perfect is impossible”¦and denying that there isn’t sin in your life isn’t rational.
And neither of these approaches to sin will solve the problem with a holy God.
So really there is only one option to deal with your problem of sin: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Only the blood that Jesus shed on the cross will ultimately pay the penalty for your sin.
If you are reading this as a child of God, take time right now to thank God for His grace in providing a solution to your sin. However, if you can’t say you are a child of God, then I challenge you to stop right now and accept God’s free gift of Christ’s shed blood for your sin. Just tell God you accept His gift and let Him cleanse you from ALL your sin!
THANK GOD FOR THE GIFT OF CHRIST’S DEATH TO PAY THE PENALTY FOR YOUR SIN!
