Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20
As Christians, the Bible calls us children of God”¦it tells us we are salt and light”¦that we’re soldiers”¦spiritual athletes”¦pilgrims”¦and we’re priests.
And as the verse above tells us, every Christian is also an ambassador of the kingdom of God! We have been born of the kingdom of heaven and we are citizens of heaven.
Remember, as a follower of Christ, you are a special agent of God living in hostile territory”¦in a war zone. And God has given you a particular assignment in this war zone: to be an ambassador”¦a reconciler.
He has given you the ministry of peace and reconciliation. He has duly authorized you. He has absolutely appointed YOU. You are His change agent!
Are you doing everything possible in your life to help others reconcile””or make peace””with God? Once you see your life as a mission of reconciliation with God, it will change the way you look at this world.
It will change your life”¦your perspective”¦and your attitude. Friend, live like an ambassador of Christ!
