“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.” Psalm 1:2
A true man or woman of God is separated from the world in their thoughts, their actions, and in the way they speak. But a man or woman of God also saturates his or her life with the Word of God.
For the Christian, the Word of God is not an obligation. It’s an opportunity to spend time with God and to learn His truth for living the life that will bring the greatest blessing to you!
Don’t you want to spend time with those that you love? If you love God the way you ought to love God, you’ll want to spend time with Him.
The way to spend time with God…the way to fellowship with God”¦is by spending time in His Word. That’s why the man or woman of God appreciates the Word of God, longs to hear the Word of God, and loves to read the Word of God.
But not only should you and I appreciate the Word of God, we need to meditate on the Word of God. Now, I’m not talking about the new age type of meditation you hear so much about today. As believers, we shouldn’t put our minds in neutral and open them up to anything. Biblical meditation is to concentrate upon the Scripture.
Friend, we need to saturate our lives with the Word if we are to become true men and women of God!
A TRUE MAN OR WOMAN OF GOD SATURATES HIS LIFE WITH THE SCRIPTURE.
