“Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision.” Nehemiah 2:17
There are three kinds of people in this world: Those who don’t know what’s happening, those who watch what is happening, and those who make something happen!
Nehemiah was a man who made things happen. And that’s the kind of Christian I want to be!And I hope it’s the kind of Christian you want to be.
But often I find Christians stuck”¦unable to move forward. Perhaps that’s the way you feel today. If so, let me give you some direction.
The first step to solving any problem is to identify it. Noticed that Nehemiah first inspected the walls of Jerusalem and then put together a plan of action. Even though the people of Jerusalem had been living and walking among the city’s broken walls for decades, they had failed to do anything about it!
It took a godly person with a vision and dedication to the Lord to recognize the problem and then put together a plan of action. And if you’re feeling stuck perhaps a new perspective would help.
Seek the insight of a trusted friend. Or try altering your normal, everyday routine so you can look at things from a new angle. God just may give you a new insight into an old problem, and a plan of action to solve it!
A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON AN OLD PROBLEM MAY JUST BE THE WAY TO SOLVE IT!
